I have a 47re that I have been babying for a few years now.  I was reading online that you can swap out the atf+4 for Dex III with lubegard (black bottle) and it will regain a bit of the grab.  What do you guys at DK use in your transimission rebuilds?

Also Do you rebuild in house or do you send it out?  If you send it out do you use or have heard of DTS (not DTT) or Rob's Auto, both of which are in Canada?  I've read they know thier stuff and you tend to get a better finsihed product then with BD or DTT or Gorend.

We use full synthetic ATF in all of our transmissions. We do not build transmissions in house, we have used Summit Transmission for all of our transmission builds for the last 4 years. We have had excellent luck with these transmissions in all 3 makes of trucks from stock to 800+ horsepower. They shift smooth, and crisp but do not slam shift. Give us a call if you are interested in pricing! Dj
