Most of our customers should plan on running the 3,000 RPM spring set.

The 4,000 RPM springs are recommended for 215 pumps or heavily modified 180 pumps only. This is due to idle issues that can surface when installing 4,000 RPM springs in a 160 or 180 rated pump.

Spinning your engine to 4,000 RPM will also require heavy duty valve springs which we also sell. We highly recommend checking fuel supply pressure at wide open throttle. 20 PSI at minimum required at all times.
